uRekha has been developed by HP Labs to address the local language computing needs in Non-Roman languages like Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu etc. uRekha has been designed to enable even a Non-PC expert or user to compatabaly access a computer in their own regional language or script.

Prodigy Labs has been involved right through the uRekha device conceptualization & development phase along with the association of HP Labs. Prodigy Labs has partnered with HP to take uRekha to the targeted end users & others segments of market. Prodigy Labs is envisioning to position uRekha device as a local language computing tool for eGovernance applications, Education initiatives, Information kiosks initiatives, Media industry applications.
